About this policy

This Order Cancellation Policy explains how, when, and under what conditions you can cancel an order placed at Light Style. We have designed cancellation to be free and effortless in the early stages: while your order is still PENDING or CONFIRMED, you can stop it instantly at no cost. Once our warehouse begins assembling and packing your items, cancellation becomes more limited, because real work, packaging materials, and courier logistics are already in motion. These rules exist to protect both sides fairly — they give you a clear, predictable way to change your mind early, while ensuring that Light Style can run a reliable fulfillment operation and deliver to other customers on time. Below you will find exactly what is possible at each order status, how refunds are issued for online and cash payments, when partial cancellation is available, and when Light Style itself may need to cancel an order. How to request a cancellation

There are two simple ways to cancel an order. The fastest is directly from your account; alternatively, you can email our support team. Whichever route you choose, the most important thing is to act quickly — an order can move from PENDING to PICKING and PACKED in a short time, and your cancellation options narrow at each step.

  1. 1 Open the "My Orders" section in your Light Style account or app, select the order you want to stop, and press the "Cancel order" button.
  2. 2 If you prefer email, write to support@ls.am and include your order number, your name, and a short note that you want to cancel — this helps us find and process it faster.
  3. 3 You must be logged in to the account used to place the order; for security reasons we can only act on a cancellation request from the order's owner.
  4. 4 After you submit the request you will receive a status notification confirming whether the cancellation was completed instantly, sent for review, or needs to be handled by support.
  5. 5 Cancellation is time-sensitive: the sooner you request it, the more likely it can be applied before the order is assembled and handed to the courier.
  6. 6 Always check the current status shown on the order card first — it tells you immediately which cancellation rule applies to your order right now.

Cancellation by order status

Whether an order can be cancelled depends entirely on its current status. As your order moves through fulfillment — from being placed, to being assembled, to being packed and shipped — the cancellation rules change. The status is always visible on the order card in your account, so you can check at any time exactly where your order stands and what is possible.

PENDING · CONFIRMED

PENDING or CONFIRMED — full self-service cancellation. While your order is still in PENDING or CONFIRMED status, you can cancel it instantly yourself, with no penalty and no fees. The order is stopped immediately and, if you paid online, your refund is initiated right away.

PICKING

PICKING — request only, reviewed by an administrator. Once the order enters PICKING status, our warehouse team has already started collecting your items. You can still submit a cancellation request, but it is not automatic and not guaranteed: an administrator will review it and decide whether the order can still be stopped. If it can, we cancel it and process your refund; if assembly is too far along, we will let you know and guide you to the next steps.

PACKED +

PACKED and later (SHIPPED, IN TRANSIT, DELIVERED) — no self-service cancellation. Once an order reaches PACKED status or any later stage such as SHIPPED, IN TRANSIT, or DELIVERED, it can no longer be cancelled from the website or app. At this point your parcel is sealed and may already be with the courier. To discuss your options, please contact our support team directly at support@ls.am.

The current status is always shown on the order card, so you can see at a glance which rule applies. Please remember that once an order has been handed over to the courier it is physically on its way and cannot be stopped through the site — for anything at this stage, support@ls.am is the right place to reach us.

Refunds after cancellation

When a cancellation is confirmed, any money you have already paid is returned to you in full. The exact method and timing depend on how you paid for your order — online by card or IDram, or in cash on delivery. Below is how each case works.

Online payment (card / IDram)

If you paid online by bank card (via ArCa / IDBank) or with IDram, your refund is returned to the original payment method used for the order. We initiate the refund as soon as the cancellation is confirmed, and the funds are returned within 10 business days. You do not need to provide any bank details — the money goes back to the same card or IDram wallet you paid with.

Cash on delivery

For orders paid in cash on delivery, the courier does not give cash back. If you had not yet paid the courier when the order was cancelled, there is simply nothing to refund. If the cash had already been collected, we issue the refund by bank transfer to the bank details you provide, within 5 business days of confirming the cancellation. Our support team will ask you for the necessary account details so the transfer can be made.

The exact moment the money appears in your account can also depend on your bank's own processing times, which are outside our control. In every case you will be notified when we initiate the refund, so you know it is on its way.

Partial cancellation

Sometimes you may want to remove just one or two items from an order rather than cancel the whole thing. If your order has not yet been assembled, partial cancellation may be possible — please contact us at support@ls.am with your order number and tell us exactly which items you would like to drop, and we will check whether it can be done. If the order is already being assembled or packed, or if a partial change is not possible, the cleanest solution is usually to cancel the order in full (where the status still allows it) and place a new order for only the items you want. Any amount you have paid for the cancelled items is refunded according to the refund rules above.

When Light Style may cancel an order

In rare situations, Light Style may need to cancel an order from our side. We do this only when it is genuinely necessary, and whenever we cancel an order you have already paid for, we issue a full refund and notify you so you understand exactly what happened and why.

  • An item turns out to be out of stock or unavailable and we cannot fulfill your order as placed.
  • A pricing or technical error affected the order — for example an obviously incorrect price caused by a system mistake.
  • The delivery address is undeliverable, or we are unable to reach you to confirm or complete the delivery despite reasonable attempts.
  • We detect signs of fraud or suspicious activity connected to the order or payment.

When this policy does not apply

This cancellation policy covers orders that have not yet been completed or delivered. Some situations fall outside its scope and are handled under different rules — most often our Returns policy. The following are not covered by order cancellation:

  • Orders that have already been delivered — if you have received your items and want to send something back, please use our Returns process instead of cancellation.
  • Gift cards that have already been activated or redeemed, which cannot be cancelled once they are in use.
  • Personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order items prepared specifically for you, which generally cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
  • Orders that have been fully completed and closed, where the transaction and delivery are already finished.
  • Digital or promotional items that have already been used or applied to an order.
  • Any request that is really about a defect or a change of mind after delivery — these are addressed by our Returns and warranty rules, not by cancellation.

Cancellation fees

There is no cancellation fee for orders cancelled at the early statuses: while an order is PENDING or CONFIRMED, cancelling is completely free and you are refunded in full. Fees only become relevant in later stages, where real fulfillment and delivery costs have already been incurred. If an order has already been shipped and you then refuse it, the cost of delivery may not be refundable, since the courier service has already been performed. In all cases, the price you paid for the products themselves is returned to you in full according to the refund rules above — any non-refundable portion is limited to delivery that has already taken place.

Frequently asked questions

Q.I pressed cancel but the order status is PICKING — what happens now?

At PICKING status your cancellation is sent to an administrator for review rather than applied automatically, because our team has already started assembling your order. We will check how far along it is and let you know whether it could be stopped. If it can, we cancel it and refund you; if not, we will explain your options. You will receive a notification with the outcome.

Q.How long until I get my money back?

For online payments by card or IDram, refunds are returned to your original payment method within 10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. For cash-on-delivery orders where money was already collected, we refund by bank transfer within 5 business days. The final crediting time can also depend on your bank, and we always notify you when the refund has been initiated.

Q.Can I cancel just one item instead of the whole order?

Possibly. If your order has not yet been assembled, email support@ls.am with your order number and the items you want to remove, and we will check whether a partial cancellation is feasible. If it is not, the simplest approach is to cancel the order in full (while the status still allows it) and place a new order for only the items you want.

Q.I paid cash on delivery — how is my refund made?

The courier never hands cash back. If you had not yet paid when the order was cancelled, there is nothing to refund. If the cash was already collected, we send the refund by bank transfer to the bank details you provide, within 5 business days. Our support team will request the account information needed to complete the transfer.

Q.Can I cancel an order after it has been delivered?

No — once an order is delivered it can no longer be cancelled. If you have already received your items and want to return them, please use our Returns process instead, which is designed exactly for that situation.

Q.My order is already PACKED — is there anything I can do?

Self-service cancellation is not available once an order is PACKED, SHIPPED, IN TRANSIT, or DELIVERED, because the parcel is sealed and may already be with the courier. Please contact support@ls.am with your order number and we will see what options are available for your specific situation.
